If the existing ground has low spots, the installer may need to adjust the levels, add drainage channels or improve the base before laying the final surface.
Edging is just as important as drainage. Gravel spreads unless it is contained. Block pavers, stone kerbs, metal edging, timber boards or concrete restraints can be used depending on the style and budget.
